L.P." and the distinctive title VARDAVAS OPTICS, with object OPTICS - CONTACT LENSES, with its seat in Athens, 18, Akadimias Street, with Tax Identification Number 997585520, Tax Office of Athens, No. GEMI: 9690901000, in order to present and sell its products on the internet. Please find bellow the terms that govern its use.

www.vardavasoptics.gr reserves the right to modify, change, and renew the terms of use of the website and the e-shop, which, updated, shall be posted on its website at any time. Any changes and modifications do not apply to orders that have already been placed.

Please read carefully the terms of use of this website and the online store. Continuing to browse the website indicates your agreement with them, otherwise you should refrain from any further use of the website and the e-shop.

2. Accuracy of information regarding the Products

www.vardavasoptics.gr has made every effort for the complete and accurate description of the products available through its online store. www.vardavasoptics.gr is not responsible for typographical errors, registration errors or any errors that have occurred inadvertently during the common experience and/or due to technical problems.

3. Limitation of liability

www.vardavasoptics.gr is not responsible for any damages that may occur from the use of products due to incorrect choice of products by the user, careless or incorrect use of the products. In the case of defective products, the liability of www.vardavasoptics.gr is limited to the obligation to replace it, in accordance with the terms governing the return of products, which are set out in detail in the Return Policy.

Especially for contact lenses, the user is responsible for the correct selection of them. They must have a valid prescription from an ophthalmologist or optometrist, who will have examined them. www.vardavasoptics.gr is not responsible for the use of contact lenses or the selection of lenses and contact lenses solution by the user. Please carefully check the packaging of the contact lenses you received to make sure you received the correct lenses (brand, grades, curvature).

www.vardavasoptics.gr is not responsible for any delays in delivery beyond the stipulated time as well as for the delay due to strikes, due to special conditions (eg restrictive measures due to Covid-19), unusual weather phenomena, etc.) and force majeure events in general.

4. Product availability

www.vardavasoptics.gr is not committed to the availability of products, but will inform consumers about any unavailability.

If you wish to buy a product for which there is an indication of unavailability, you can contact us at +30 2103611211 or send us an email at info@vardavasoptics.gr to order it. We will inform you about the estimated delivery time, which depends on the supplier and can range from 2 to 30 working days. In case the order is not possible, because the specific product is no longer available from the supplier, we will inform you accordingly.

We have made every effort to inform you about any product unavailability and/or shortage, but if, after the completion of your order there is a shortage due to unavailability from the supplier, we will contact you to inform you about the new delivery time, or to proceed with the delivery of another product or refund.

5. Product Prices 

www.vardavasoptics.gr reserves the right to adjust the prices of the available products, which, in any case, will be posted in the online store. Any price change does not affect orders already concluded.

All prices include VAT 24%.

8. Confidentiality and Transaction Security

www.vardavasoptics.gr is not going to disclose to third parties information regarding your order, unless this is necessary for the completion of your order (confirmation of counterparty and payment details, order delivery), as well as in cases provided by law.

9. Withdrawal

You can withdraw from the contract for any reason within 14 days of receiving your order. Please carefully read the Return Policy.

10. Defective products

Before being shipped by our company, all products are thoroughly inspected and they are being shipped in excellent condition. Upon receipt of your order, please carefully check both products and packaging for any damage.

Regarding contact lenses, please carefully check the product you received (brand, grades, curvature) before opening the package. In case you find any damage that occurred during the transport of the product or you consider that the product you bought is defective or does not have any of the properties mentioned in its description or in case you received a product other than the one you ordered, please notify us immediately by contacting us within 2 days from the date of receipt, in order to receive instructions from us. If the conditions for returning the product are met as stated in the Return Policy, we will replace it with a new product if there is immediate availability, or a refund or the choice of another product, at your choice.

The product must be returned to us along with the receipt or the purchase invoice, by ELTA Courier, at the recipient's charge (our charge), or you can return it to us at our store, 18, Akadimias str., 10671, Athens.

In case the conditions for the replacement or refund are not met, the parcel will be returned to you at your own expense.

12. Invalidity of Term

 In the event that any of these Terms of Use are deemed invalid by a Court, this will in no way affect the validity, binding and enforceability of the other Terms, which remain in force.

The Greek Law is applicable for every transaction made through www.vardavasoptics.gr. The Courts of Athens are exclusively competent for any dispute that may arise from the use of the website and from any transactions made through it.
